Things to Know Before Your Sauna Visit

Read befor use of the sauna
Drinking Water
Bring plenty of drinking water. We recommend only water as your fluid intake.Swimwear
Bring swimwear or a peshtemal/towel to cover yourself when outside the sauna. For hygiene reasons, we recommend removing tight-fitting swimwear in the sauna.Towels
Bring 2 towels. Always sit and lie on a towel.Arrive Freshly Showered
Always shower before using the sauna, or take a swim in the sea beforehand.Listen to Your Body
Drink water and get fresh air regularly. If you feel unwell or dizzy, step outside for fresh air.Respect Your Booking Time
There will be guests coming after you, so make sure the sauna is clean and ready to use when your booked time is over.Maintain Heat in the Stove
New guest will arrive after your stay, so keep the stove well-heated when you leave the sauna.Cleanliness and Tidiness
Clean up after yourself and keep the sauna and surrounding area tidy. Contact us if you notice any defects or issues upon arrival or after use.Enjoy Your Stay
Regular use of saunas and ice bathing offers a range of documented health benefits. Our aim is for you to leave feeling revitalized and joyful, with a desire to return. Always leave the sauna in the same condition (or better) than when you arrived.
In the sauna, we always sit on a towel!
This practice is primarily for maintaining good hygiene, and also helps preserve the wood for a longer lifetime.
Sauna rules
Water on the Heater:
Water cools down the heater. Use only fresh water on the stones when the sauna is hot (minimum 70°C). Use water sparingly—ONLY fresh water on the stones. Using anything else may damage the heater, and you may be liable for replacement costs.Towels:
Always sit and lie on a towel on the benches.The heater is hot (It's a sauna and it ment to be realy HOT):
Maintain a safe distance from the heater as it gets extremely hot. If you're doing activities like yoga, ensure you do so safely without risking falling from the benches or into the heater.Listen to Your Body:
If you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or unwell, step outside for fresh air. Stay hydrated by drinking water regularly.Swimming and Slip Hazards:
Swimming is at your own risk. Never swim alone, stay near the ladder, and be cautious of potentially slippery area- Walk carefully.Follow your Doctor's Advice:
Pregnant, have heart issues, or other underlying conditions? Consult your doctor before using the sauna or ice bathing if you have any concerns.Alcohol:
Alcohol consumption is not allowed in or around the sauna. Drinking alcohol is discouraged as it can lead to dehydration and irresponsible behavior. Red wine and other food or drinks that may cause stains are not permitted and could result in replacement costs. Intoxicated individuals may be asked to leave.Be Considerate:
